Hudson United Methodist Nursery School
Carrie will be teaching the Explorer and Lunch Bunch classes. Carrie will also be the assistant teacher in the 3 day 4/5 year old class with Mrs. Groves. Carrie will be assisting Mrs. Piel in the T/Th Toddler class. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. She lives in Hudson with her husband and 3 children.
Andrea is the assistant teacher in the 3 day, 3's class. She worked as a
substitute teacher in all the classes at Hudson Methodist last year. She is
a mother of two, who attended Hudson Methodist Nursery School. She has lived in Hudson for 6 years and was a prior business owner for 10 years in the events planning business.
Meg began teaching at Hudson United Methodist Nursery School in 2002. She currently is the lead teacher for the 5 Day, Pre-K class. Meg has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kent State University. She previously taught the Preschool Extended Day and Kindergarten Extended Day classes before taking the position in the 5-day class. She is the mother of four children, two of which graduated from HUMNS.
DIRECTOR:
Lisa began teaching at the Hudson United Methodist Nursery School in 2000 and became the director of the Nursery School in 2006. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. Lisa previously taught Kindergarten and was also a regional director for a chain of daycare faculties for eight year before joining HUMNS. Lisa is the mother of three grown boys.
Lisa started at Hudson United Methodist Nursery School in 2006. She is the five-day assistant teacher for the morning and the assistant for Lunch Bunch and Explorer. She is the mother of 3 and enjoying her 2 grandchildren.
Carol joined HUMNS in 2020. She will be teaching the 3-day 4/5 yr. old class. Carol will also be the two-day three-year-old assistant with Shannon Hagen. She has been teaching preschool for 20 years. Carol has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Akron in Food and Nutrition. When she is not enjoying teaching, she can be found walking her dog Sadie, playing yard games, or watching sports with her three sons. She lives in stow with her husband Steve.
Shannon is the assistant teacher in the 3-day 3’s class. Shannon will be the lead teacher in the two-day three’s class. She received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. Shannon taught as a Title 1 Reading teacher for six years before becoming a stay at home mom for her two young sons. She loves to spend time biking with her boys, reading, watching movies, and playing games. Shannon is familiar with HUMNS because both of her children graduated from the school and she is excited to start her new role as a teacher.
Tressa will be the assistant teacher for the Monday/Wednesday toddler
class. Tressa was a Human Resource Manager for 13 years before having her daughter who will be attending HUMNS this year. She also has a son.
Amy joined HUMNS in 2009 as a substitute teacher. Currently working as the toddler teacher. Amy worked at the Cleveland Clinic for 20 years as an RN in the orthopedic department. She is the mother of 3, two which attended HUMNS.
